API Channel

The API channel is used for tickets and ticket messages that are created using API commands.

Settings

Setting Name Description
Append IP Address Append the user's IP address to the end of their ticket messages (requires user_ip_address data to be provided).
Check Spam Rules Block messages which match spam rules.
Enable Rate Limiting Limit the number of tickets and messages users can post within a timeframe, after which they will be throttled. Limits can be adjusted under the Web channel settings.
