API Channel
The API channel is used for tickets and ticket messages that are created using API commands.
Settings
Setting Name | Description |
---|---|
Append IP Address | Append the user's IP address to the end of their ticket messages (requires user_ip_address data to be provided). |
Check Spam Rules | Block messages which match spam rules. |
Enable Rate Limiting | Limit the number of tickets and messages users can post within a timeframe, after which they will be throttled. Limits can be adjusted under the Web channel settings. |
