# Backup and Restore

SupportPal provides built-in functionality to back up and restore installations.

## Docker Deployments

 Backup and restore functionality in Docker makes use of SupportPal CLI commands, but also handles additional Docker related services data. For more information, please refer to [Backup and Restore (Docker)](Backup+and+Restore+Docker).

## Other Deployments

 Non docker deployment types (Linux and cPanel) can make use of built-in CLI commands. The help desk offers `app:backup` and `app:restore` commands which enable you to back up and restore all application files and database data.
