  **Twilio - Phone Number Verification**  
 Several security measures have been introduced to reduce the financial risk of [SMS pumping](https://www.twilio.com/docs/glossary/what-is-sms-pumping-fraud) when using the phone number verification component of our [Twilio integration](Third+Party+Integrations+Twilio).  
 We encourage you to: - Restrict the countries that phone verification is available to, using the new [Allowed Countries option](Third+Party+Integrations+Twilio#phone-number-verification). If currently using phone verification, this will be automatically set to your default country only on upgrading.
- Enable [Verify Guard](https://www.twilio.com/docs/verify/preventing-toll-fraud/sms-fraud-guard) in your Twilio console, if it's not already enabled.
